Depression Tip 41: Movement Or Exercise. 💙

Most people will talk about "exercise", but when you're depressed, you really don't wanna think about exercise. It sounds like way too much energy. So I like to talk about "movement". 💙

But whatever you can actually do to move when you're depressed, or even when you're not depressed, the actual benefits are huge. 💙

So if you think about it, when you're moving, the blood starts flowing, the heart starts pumping, oxygen reaches all parts of your body, including your brain, and it's vital to get oxygen, sugars, nutrients to your brain when you're depressed, because that's what will help you do the thinking, the concentrating, and bring back energy. 💙

Also, the same blood flow affects your body, and it flushes out toxins. It helps with the cell growth, it helps with cell renewal. So it's really important that you start with whatever movement you feel you can do, and build up over time to more intense movement, more intense exercise. 💙
