Depression Tip 31: Why You're Stuck.

It's very common to feel stuck in depression, to feel anchorless, to feel rudderless, to feel directionless. It seems that the reason why this happens is that we lose contact with our own feelings. 💙

We've suppressed our feelings and we don't get any positive response, any feeling of pride or accomplishment or joy or satisfaction from doing anything. Therefore what's the point in doing anything? Everything becomes pointless. 💙

Even the things that will help to get us out of depression. If someone says for example exercising will help you. Well okay there's the initial resistance because of fatigue, tiredness and you don't have the energy to exercise. 💙

But then the deeper problem is that even if you did manage to exercise or say go out for a walk you wouldn't enjoy it. There would be no sense of accomplishment from doing that thing that would help you get out of depression.💙
